About Scott

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. And thanks for checking out the Two Investing site. I just wanted to give you a little information about myself so you can get some context for my posts. I am a 36 year old radiologist who is about 3-4 years into his practice.

I am maxing out a Roth IRA at $6,000 per year (now via a backdoor approach) for both myself and my wife. I am also contributing the maximum per year of $19,000 into a profit sharing Roth 401k.

I decided to start keeping track of my investments so that I could look back in the future and see where I started. I am kind of weird in that I love working with numbers and building spreadsheets to keep track of everything. As I went on, I realized that there are communities of people out there who are doing the same thing and/or looking for investment tools/ideas. I’m making my spreadsheets available on Google Spreadsheets at the Spreadsheets link above.

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to document my own trades and maybe exchange some investing ideas along the way. I’ll be trying to update this blog a few times a month.

My investment strategy involves dividend growth stocks as the focus though I have recently (2019) been interested in momentum, value, and international exposure. A investing series begun in the fourth quarter of 2019 on portfolio diversification does a great job of explaining my involving investing approach. I am also using options strategies, investments in non-dividend paying growth stocks, and have invested in some private equity and real estate.

Please feel free to contact me via the Contact Us link above. I look forward to any questions or comments.
