Recent Dividend Increases Q4 2013

Here’s a list of some recent dividend increases:

Aflac (AFL) raised annual dividend per share from $1.40 to $1.48, increasing annual dividend from $82.19 to $86.89. Dividend CAGR: 5.71%

BP raised annual dividend per share from $2.16 to $2.28, increasing annual dividend from $108 to $114. Dividend CAGR: 5.56%

Kinder-Morgan (KMI) raised annual dividend per share from $1.52 to $1.64. This raises my annual dividend from $204.23 to $220.36. Dividend CAGR: 7.89%

McDonalds (MCD) raised annual dividend per share from $3.08 to $3.24, increasing annual dividend from $93.12 to $97.96. Dividend CAGR: 5.19%

Visa (V) raised the annual dividend from $1.32 to $1.60 per share. My annual dividend amount will increase from $19.84 to $24.05. Still very small, but I’m hopeful that increases like this can continue for the foreseeable future. Dividend CAGR: 21.2%

While some of these increases are smaller than recent historic increases, they are all above the historic level of inflation. These increases alone raised my total annual dividend by $35.88. As of today my expected total annual dividend is $1671.48.
