Banner image update

While I like the functionality of my blog theme (Hueman), the text that I was using for the last couple years in the banner was getting a little stale.

So I asked my brother to come up with a new banner design. While there were many good ones, the banner image at the top was my favorite. I’ve also started using the stylized “2” as my Gravatar. So anytime you see that on supported sites you’ll know that it is me.

What do you think?

It looks good, though maybe a bit dark. (it’s very subjective though)

In regards to themes, if you are ever looking for a revamp, Divi from Elegant themes is very very customizible. Very easy and flexible to use.

Thanks, Alex. I’ll see what my brother’s eye thinks too. Shouldn’t be too hard to lighten up or maybe even change the background color. That Divi theme looks great…very customizable!

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for the great content. 😃

In my opinion a cleaner, more modern design (See examples in link) might be a better fit.

Thanks for the suggestions, Bend123. Those modern design themes look good too. I think I’ll stick with this design for a bit but will keep an eye out for some good ideas for the future.

I’ve had to make the banner image a little bigger. The way the responsive design works for this theme caused it to shrink to a non-readable size when viewed on mobile devices. I might have to play around with the CSS or try a different WordPress theme and see if that works better.
