March 2020 Income

March 2020 brought in $1465.75 in dividend income. This was down very slightly from last March, which brought in $1497.15. When you consider the fact that I diversified into a lot of alternative investments, this result is great! It is helped greatly by the dividends that the new 401k brings in, which is currently valued at $81,030 (down from a peak of just over $100k before the recent market selloff).

With the forward 12-month dividend income of $11,088.32, I am making $1.27/hour 24/7 365 days a year! Pretty sweet.

  1. Nice total, Scott! That’s an impressive AMGN dividend, too. I can’t say I’ve seen one that high. It was joined by 3 other triple-digit dividend payers as well – sweet. I’m sure the YoY growth will return soon. I shared 8 dividend payers with you this month… a decent overlap.

      DivHut,

Thanks for the kind words! I’ve been getting a few “vacation” days off the last couple weeks since there hasn’t been enough business at work. It is at least nice to know that I am still making a tiny amount even when I’m not officially working.

  4. Love it Scott

That is a solid income and got to love seeing multiple positions paying over 100 in a quarter. Those are the little milestones I like hitting.

Keep it up man, You will be setting new records in no time!
    cheers

Congrats on the solid dividend income for March! Almost $1,500 is pretty damn awesome. $5.31/hour based on 40 hours per week is pretty nice. Keep it up.
